Welcome

I was born in Hamilton, Scotland in 1955 and emigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia in 1956. In 1985 I was accepted to the prestigious institution of Emily Carr College of Art & Design where I pursued my passion. It was there I learned the skill to become a successful artist. I have painted in many different mediums, such as watercolour, acrylics, liquitex, and oil. I believe that exploring other mediums intensifies the artistic understanding. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

I find inspiration in everyday items and the beauty in life experiences. My family, friends and everyday events bring a richness and colour to my life which I convey on canvas.
